5 years ago in my very first blog post I discussed the problem of people struggling with staying focused when they pray. It was the #1 struggle then and my sense is that the problem has only gotten worse.
Technology is just whittling away at our attention spans at an alarming rate. It’s a wonder any of us can pray for more than five minutes.
So, tonight I am hosting my first ever webinar, “Giving God Our Full Attention”, and I am going to tackle this problem for you. Those of you who know me well, know that I have about as over active of a mind as you can get. It NEVER shuts off. However, I manage to reign it in for some really concentrated prayer time.
