Just a short note to everyone saying, “Merry Christmas from The Practical Disciple”. I wrote the following status earlier and wonder if others can relate.
“Dear God, I love your gift. I have exchanged it several times in the past and always regret doing so. Sorry. I guess what I really need to do is both keep it and give it away. Would love your guidance on this. Thank you for Christ. Thank you for Christmas, Love, John”
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. Once my family has opened their gifts, I will put together a reflection on my experience of The Christmas Manifesto. I am waiting until then so I can discuss some of the gifts I gave. In some ways, Christmas isn’t over yet, because I have a second Christmas with my extended family on New Years Day. What a blessing.
